CCS - Luau Dance 2008

Highlights Movie

This may not work for dial up people but I used a new Picasa feature to make a movie of some of the best pictures from the Luau Dance, complete with the most famous ukulele song I know.

It was hot and warm but there was a lot of fun to be had at the first dance of the 2008-2009 season. The Class of 2010 would like to thank the chaperones and all the students who attended, bought a ton of snacks and picked up a few Hawaiian Leis. Special thanks to Miss Smith and Mrs. Gratto for taking the pictures. If only we had a class full of students who could take pictures at these events...hmm...LAST BATCH OF PICS.

Long Time Coming

Mrs. Gratto and Miss Smith are dancing so much that they forgot to bring in the camera for an update. Early word is that this is turning out to be a great fundraiser for the class of 2010. PICTURES 5

Sweaty?

9:18 - I just saw Mr. Sandvig (he looks like Simon Pegg from Shawn of the Dead) and he is sweaty. And he is not dancing. The gym is rocking and VERY, VERY hot. We have another great batch of pictures to share. PICTURES 4

Dance Update 3

8:55 - Miss Smith handed the camera over Mrs. Gratto for a few pictures. Those two are having a ball. They have done a superb job. I heard a rumor that there will be some line type dancing around 9:00 and Mrs. Gardiner will be trying out the video idea. PICTURES 3

Dance Update 2

8:20 PM - Amazing-- Miss Smith should be your new hero. She has turned in another amazing batch of photos from the students are they arrived here tonight. She thinks she hit just about everybody but is now in the gym taking dance photos. Mrs. Gardiner has volunteered to try her hand with the video camera. I think tonight will go well. PICTURES 2

8:13 PM - Miss Monique Smith to the rescue. the party had not even started when Miss Smith asked to take control of one of the cameras to make sure the event was covered properly. There are already some amazing pictures for you to enjoy. I suspect there will be many more. PICTURES 1

Luau Dance

September 26, 2008 - 7:35 PM - We'll see how tonight goes. Annika Peterson, who has provided you with hundreds of pictures over the past several years will not be in attendance at tonight's dance. Will someone step up and try to fill her shoes? Check back to see. It would be a shame to have a dance and not have a ton of pictures.

Movies

We will try to add a few video clips tonight as well. I brought along my Flip camcorder. We will either post some movies here, or I may try something new. Either way I suspect we will have a few clips to share tonight.
