After Prom Party

ATTENTION ALL JUNIOR CLASS PARENTS AND ANYONE WILLING... HELP WANTED: CREATIVE MINDS, HELPING HANDS & DONATIONS For the 2008 CCS AFTER PROM PARTY

WHY IS THE AFTER PROM PARTY IMPORTANT?
We surveyed 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students this year and at least 50% of them said they would attend the after prom party or at least consider it! It's critical that we continue to provide an opportunity for safe celebration on this high-risk night if our youth are willing to participate!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
1. Most Importantly: Please join the Parent Advisory Committee of Chateaugay in planning this event! While donations are wonderful we really need some extra helping hands on our team! An event such as this requires a large amount of preparation, and the more people we have the less stress it is on our volunteers. Overall the PAC works to help prevent and reduce underage drinking and other substance use among our youth throughout the year. You can join the group as a member of or main mission or simply to help with the after prom party effort. Please contact Kysle Johnson for meeting information @ 497-6611.
2. Pledge your donation of time! You can sign up to assist as a set up helper, or clean up crew.
3. Offer a donation of food. The kids can plow through chips, cookies, platters, brownies, pizza, dips, etc... all are welcome! Cold items are preferred.
4. Donate funds! This event is only possible through the generous donations of parents and local businesses. Every dollar helps!
