Dear Parents/Guardians:
We would like to inform you that we have changed the location
of the intercom system to enter the elementary building. It has been
relocated to the inside doors of the foyer. Everything else has
remained the same. Please use the buzzer, wait for a response from
the secretary and then state your name and the reason for your
visit.
We have had some problems with adults and students allowing
others to enter the building without announcing themselves first.
This is a problem because we have some people that are not
allowed in our school building for many different reasons. If you
are at the door waiting to come in. please
do not let anyone else in with you.
Sometimes we have information here at school as to why someone is
not allowed in our building that you would not have knowledge of.
This is for your child's safety as well as for the safety of all of
the other people in the school building.
On another note, we are experiencing problems with congestion
in our parking lot in the morning when students are arriving at
school. Please be cautious to drive at a speed no
greater
than 15 miles per hour in the parking lot. The parking lot
has many people either dropping off students or walking through the
parking lot to enter the building. Excessive speed can make the
parking lot unsafe. Also, our parking lot has a one-way
sign. This means that when entering the parking lot at the stop
sign, you should stay right and go around by the elementary then up
by the high school past all of the parked cars that are in the
middle and around to the stop sign You should turn right at the last
stop sign to exit the parking lot.
These are just a few things we work hard at everyday to keep
all of our student's, faculty and staff safe.
