Elementary and Junior High School
Concert information for the Elementary and Junior
High School Winter Concert are as follows:
The school assembly performance is Tuesday, December
1, 2009 at 9:00AM
The evening concert is Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at
7:00 PM. Band members should be at the school by
6:15 PM to start warming up their instruments.
Dress for the assembly is as follows: Women - black skirt or
pants and a white blouse.
Men - black pants (black socks, dark shoes) a white dress
shirt and a tie. Thank You!
Thriller
As part of his 8th grade general music class Mr. Scheiber and the students put together a special music video for Halloween. He uploaded the video to YouTube and is sharing it with all of you.
On the Road
Every summer there is a pick-up band that plays a concert in the park in Massena. For over a decade Mr. Trombley has been playing with this group. This year she brought the Junior Jazz band to perform during the intermission. She thanks all the parents who brought the students to the summer time practices and then making the long trip to Massena for the Friday night concert. I have a few pictures (forgive the Trombley heavy selection but I did have three family members playing). If you look closely you will see Kately Legacy in the "big band" along with Ben Trombley and Miss Peryea. The crowd was amazed by the performance and then stunned to learn that the band is comprised of students going into 7th grade. Once again our CCS students made us proud. PICTURES
Summer Time
Miss Peryea and Mrs. Trombley will be performing in a Big Band/Swing/Jazz band group in Massena on July 31st. During the intermission the Junior Jazz Band from CCS will be performing. Both bands put on a great show. There is no charge for the performances.
Goodbye
By now many of know that Mr. Trudo left CCS. We thank him for his dedication and enthusiasm throughout the year and wish him well in his next assignment. As of this date we are not sure who will replace him.
